Malice The Queen's Assassin (Queen's Secret, #1) Yes No Maybe So What Kind of Girl The Gravity of Us

Malice by Pintip Dunn – 4th Feb – This is about a girl who gets told by her older self that a boy from her school will release a virus that wipes out most of the population… but she doesn’t know who it is. It’s a race against time to figure out who will spread the virus and how to stop him! This is an Asian-authored book!

The Queen’s Assassin by Melissa de la Cruz – 4th Feb – I mean a deadly assassin? an assassin in training? a YA fantasy-romance? secret magic? liES ANd SeCREtS?? I’m not freaking out you are. Another amazing Asian-authored book!

Yes No Maybe So by Becky Albertalli and Aisha Saeed – 4th Feb – I am actually dying to read this one!! It has Muslim rep and romace! I am so curious to see how the cross-cultural romance works out!

What Kind of Girl by Alyssa B. Sheinmel – 4th Feb – This book sounds incredibly thought-provoking and reviews say that it discusses deep issues incredibly well. “It all started when Mike Parker’s girlfriend showed up with a bruise on her face. Or, more specifically, when she walked into the principal’s office and said Mike hit her.”

The Gravity Of Us by Phil Stamper – 4th Feb – I have been so excited for this book ever since I saw it on Twitter!! This is about a 17-year-old journalist, Cal, who experiences chaos when his father is chosen for a NASA mission and they have to move. Cal meets Leon, someone else who loves space, and starts falling for him (!!!)

The Last Confession of Autumn Casterly Of Curses and Kisses (St. Rosetta's Academy, #1) The Upside of Falling Foul Is Fair The Shadows Between Us

The Last Confession of Autumn Casterly by Meredith Tate – 11th Feb – I’m really excited about this book because it sounds like a gripping thriller with plenty of twists! It is about Autumn, a drug dealer who goes missing, and her sister Ivy who has to look for her and may have to dig up some awful secrets.

Of Curses and Kisses by Sandhya Menon – 18th Feb – I am so excited for this book!! A retelling of Beauty and the Beast?! by an Indian-American author?! set in a boarding school?! with a character that is a misanthrope?! (shh i totally didn’t just google that… okay i did and it means a person who dislikes humankind and avoids human society. so… i relate) I WILL SELL MY SOUL FOR THIS BOOK… jk. not really… unless

The Upside of Falling by Alex Light – 18th Feb – This book is about Becca, a seventeen-year-old who pretends she’s dating and Brett, who doesn’t want to date anyone but overhears Becca’s lie and so they decide tO FAKE DATE. This is one of my fave tropes and i needed this book like a week ago!!

Foul Is Fair by Hannah Capin – 18th Feb – This is a Macbeth retelling (i think – 98% sure) and I am so here for this!! I loved reading Macbeth and this sounds awesome! a badass girl giving annoying boys what they deserve? hell yeah.

The Shadows Between Us by Tricia Levenseller – 25th Feb – ‘Alessandra is tired of being overlooked, but she has a plan to gain power: 1) Woo the Shadow King. 2) Marry him. 3) Kill him and take his kingdom for herself.’ That synopsis? it had me at woo! this sounds absolutely amazing! yes to powerful girls and stealing kingdoms and hopefully enemies to lovers!
